\nThe Inner Tent hangs from the D ring permanently welded on to the center pole of every Sibley Bell Tent. The Inner Tent can be installed in multiple locations, although most people choose to install it on the opposite side of the main entry door. Made from ultralight cotton canvas and no-see-um mesh, the Inner Tent is both compact, easy to use, and can be installed by 1 person in under 5 minutes. Canvas carry cag included for transport and storage.
\nSibley Bell Tent Compatibility
\nThe Inner Tent 500 is compatible with all size 500 Sibley Bell Tents in the Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate, and Pro and ProTech models. All Sibley Bell Tents are compatible with an inner tents of a corresponding size, except for the Diamond Fire Series.
\nChandeliers which are also designed to hang from the D ring on a center pole cannot be used in conjunction with an inner tent.
\nInner Tent Bathtub Floor
\nEvery Inner Tent has sewn in attached (180gr\/m\u00b2 or 5.3 oz\/yd\u00b2) PVC groundsheet that is 10cm (4 inches) tall; the same bathtub style on our Sibley Tents. When used in conjunction with the groundsheets included on the Deluxe, Ultimate, Pro, and ProTech series, the inner tent ground sheet offers twice the protection and helps keep sand and dirt tracked into the tent out of your sleeping area. When used in a bell tent without a groundsheet you can rely on the protection of the inner tent groundsheet, leaving the other half of the tent floor exposed.
\nWindows and Doors
\nAll Inner Tents feature full-height double-doors, each with its own zippered screen and canvas privacy doors. This allows either side to be completely open, closed with just the screen material, or completely closed with the canvas door for complete privacy. On the 500, two zippered half moon windows allow you access the windows on the bell tent\u2019s side walls even when the inner tent in installed. The inner tent provides screened in protection even when the side rolls are rolled up on your bell tent.
\nInsulating Properties
\nThe walls of the Inner Tent do not make content with the bell tent canopy, which creates dead air space between the two. This layer of insulation helps keeps your sleeping area both cooler in hot weather, and warmer in cold weather. Keep in mind that the walls of the inner tent are made of no-see-um mesh; so if your primary goal is adding insulation to the tent a Sibley Bell Tent Fly is a better option.
