Description

Description Specifications Reviews Storm belts can triple the wind resistance of a Flex tent. Storm lines keep the Flex Tent from being lifted by the wind and help keep the center poles in place. CanvasCamp strongly recommends using storm lines when pitching a stretch tent of 80m² or larger – or whenever there is a chance of strong winds. Storm lines are not included with the purchase of a Flex Tent.
Both ends of the storm lines should be anchored with their own stakes.
Think of a Flex tent as a massive sail on a ship. There are many factors to consider: the size of your tent, the way the tent is angled towards the wind, the weather conditions, the chosen pitch. These factors can have a huge impact on the security of your Flex tent. In order to prevent the tent from lifting up, causing the central poles to fall and the tent coming down, storm lines should be installed when needed.
