Description

Storm belts are essential for keeping your Stretch tent safe and secure in windy conditions. Acting as heavy-duty reinforcement, they prevent the canvas from lifting and keep supporting poles firmly in place. For Stretch tents of 80m² and larger, CanvasCamp strongly recommends storm belts, while tents of 120m² and up should be secured with two.

Made from ultra-strong synthetic fibres, these belts can withstand gales and sudden gusts, effectively tripling your tent’s wind resistance. Both ends of each storm belt must be anchored with their own stakes for maximum stability.

Think of a Stretch tent as a giant sail — wind direction, tent size, and setup angle all play a role in performance. Storm belts counteract these forces, reducing the risk of poles tipping over and the structure collapsing. For ultimate peace of mind, especially when wind pressure exceeds 300 N/m², storm straps are a must-have accessory for any large Stretch tent installation.
