<h2>💧 Operation of the Alembic and Essence Separator</h2>

<p>
Water is placed inside the alembic boiler, while the plants or flowers to be distilled are placed in the column.
When heat is applied, the water evaporates and the steam rises through the column, carrying the essential oils from the plants or flowers. 🌿
</p>

<p>
Inside the head of the alembic, the vapor begins to condense and travels through the transfer tube to the coil condenser,
where it turns back into liquid.
</p>

<p>
The resulting liquid is a mixture of water and essential oils.
An essence separator is used to separate the oil from the water.
</p>

<h3>⚙️ Instructions for Use</h3>

<ol>
<li>
Place the essence separator under the condenser outlet tube.
The hydrolate should flow into the corresponding inlet (1).
</li>

<li>
Adjust the water level screw (2) by tightening it clockwise until the top of the adjustment screw
remains below the level of the outlet tube (6).
</li>

<li>
After a short time, water will begin to flow through the water level adjustment screw (2),
indicating the water level inside the separator.
You will also notice essential oil accumulating inside the oil tower (3). 🫙
</li>

<li>
To raise the level of essential oil inside the oil tower (3),
slowly unscrew the water level adjustment screw (2) counterclockwise.
</li>

<li>
When you wish to extract the essential oil, slowly raise the water screw (2)
until the oil reaches the outlet (6) and begins to flow through the essential oil outlet tube (5).
</li>

<li>
This adjustment can be left in automatic separation mode,
providing a continuous flow of hydrolates and, at a slower rate, essential oils. ♻️
Make sure to place a container under the essential oil outlet tube to collect the oil properly.
