Sauna stoves in a metal body have been manufactured in Pjarnu since the mid-1990s. Since 2006, they have been manufactured by SKAMET. If the sauna stove is correctly selected according to the area of the room and other parameters (without a boiler), then the heating time can be approximately 30-45 minutes (if a boiler is used, more time is needed, depending on its dimensions). During this time, the sauna room will heat up to 100 degrees. The flow of fresh air and the exhaust of exhaust air also play an important role.
The efficiency of all sauna stoves is more than 85%, which exceeds the requirements of the EU standard (50%). Such heating is provided by the chimney built into the stove, which retains heat for as long as possible before it enters the flue pipe, and from the flue pipe into the stove chimney. Therefore, all our stoves are equipped with chimneys that prevent fire from entering the flue pipe. If you have insulated your sauna well and have chosen one of our models correctly, then the sauna room can be heated to 100 ˚С in 0.5 to 1.5 hours. The average lifespan of a “Skamet” stove, when used properly, is from 8 to 12 years
